Our Story and Mission
In Santa Rosa County, support for our nation’s sea services isn’t just a gesture; it’s a commitment rooted in community, pride, and purpose. Located alongside Naval Air Station Whiting Field, our region plays a vital role in training the next generation of Naval Aviators and supporting active duty service members and their families.
The Santa Rosa County Council of the Navy League of the United States was established to ensure that those who serve our country never stand alone. What began as a group of dedicated community leaders has grown into a mission-driven organization committed to making a tangible impact.
From recognizing outstanding service members through Sailor of the Quarter programs, to providing scholarships for local students, to supporting morale, welfare, and recreation initiatives on base, our work is rooted in one simple belief: strong communities stand behind those who serve.
Through partnerships with local businesses, civic leaders, and volunteers, the Santa Rosa County Navy League continues to build meaningful connections between our military and the community, bridging the gap between service and support.
