The Santa Rosa County Navy League proudly hosts two premier annual events that serve as the foundation of our mission, bringing the community together in support of our nation’s sea service members and future leaders.
Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet
Held each year in partnership with leadership from Naval Air Station Whiting Field, this signature event honors the outstanding achievements of Sailors, civilian personnel, and instructors who exemplify excellence in service.
The evening brings together military leadership, community partners, and local supporters to recognize those who go above and beyond in their commitment to our nation. From Sailor of the Year recognitions to distinguished civilian awards, this event reflects the very best of service, sacrifice, and professionalism.
More than a celebration, the Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet strengthens the bond between our military and the community, ensuring those who serve feel seen, valued, and supported.

Student Scholarships for local graduating seniors
NJROTC and Sea Cadet Programs, helping develop the next generation of leaders
Program Sponsorships at NAS Whiting Field, enhancing the quality of life and morale for service members and their families
The CAPT Walt Reese Golf Tournament is one of our most anticipated and impactful fundraising events of the year. Bringing together business leaders, sponsors, and community members, the tournament provides a relaxed and engaging environment to build relationships while supporting a meaningful cause.
Named in honor of CAPT Walt Reese’s legacy of leadership and service, the tournament reflects the Navy League’s commitment to camaraderie, community engagement, and giving back.
